Treatment Room Policies

To ensure a calm and relaxing experience for all clients, I kindly ask that you take a moment to read the policies below before booking an appointment. These policies help protect my time as a sole practitioner and ensure fairness to all clients.

Booking Appointments

Appointments can be booked online or directly with me and are subject to availability.

By booking an appointment, you agree to the policies outlined on this page.

Some treatments may require a deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if sufficient notice is given (see cancellation policy below).

Cancellation Policy

I understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

Please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before the start of your appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the treatment cost.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the treatment fee.

Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the time set aside for your appointment.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened in order to avoid affecting the next client’s appointment. The full treatment fee will still apply.

If you are significantly late, I may need to reschedule your appointment and the cancellation policy may apply.

Deposits

Certain treatments or longer appointments may require a deposit at the time of booking.

Deposits:

Secure your appointment time.

Are non-refundable.

May be transferred to a new appointment if sufficient notice (48 hours) is given.

If an appointment is cancelled outside of the policy timeframe, the deposit may be retained.

Health & Medical Information

Please inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, pregnancy or medications before your treatment.

Certain conditions may prevent or alter treatments for your safety. If a treatment is not suitable due to undisclosed health concerns, the appointment may need to be modified or rescheduled.

Professional Boundaries & Right to Refuse Service

I am committed to providing a safe, professional and respectful environment within the treatment room.

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if:

A client behaves in a way that is inappropriate, disrespectful, or makes me feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Behaviour or comments are of a sexual or suggestive nature.

A client arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Professional boundaries are not respected.

Health concerns or contraindications make treatment unsuitable.

If a treatment is stopped due to inappropriate behaviour, the appointment will end immediately and the full treatment fee may still be charged.

Clients who do not respect these policies may be declined future appointments.

Therapist Cancellations

In rare circumstances, I may need to cancel or rearrange an appointment due to illness, emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

If this occurs, I will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment where available.

My practice aims to provide a calm, welcoming and professional space for all clients.
